Answers to the most frequently asked questions:

What if I want more than one system?

Most of our partners will provide multiple systems.  In some cases additional systems can be provided at no charge.  In other cases additional systems can be purchased.  If you need more than one system and our online application does not provide you an option to add multiple systems please call us at 888-999-1343 and speak with one of our point of sale specialists about building a package that fits your needs.

How long will it take to get my system?

Delivery times vary by program. Elite POS systems and cash registers ship regular ground after they are custom programmed so delivery times will vary depending on your programming. Tablet POS systems are delivered within 3 to 5 business days. Credit card terminals and mobile phone card readers are typically delivered in 2 to 3 business days.

How will the system I choose get programmed?

Elite POS systems are custom programmed at the factory before shipment based on your specifications. Cash registers are also programmed at the factory before shipment based on the specifications you choose in our simple, user-friendly, online keypad configuration wizard. Credit card terminals are programmed at the factory before shipment. Tablet POS systems and mobile phone card readers are simple to program and tech support will walk you through how to program them after they are delivered. Some tablet POS packages offer optional onsite installation and custom programming.

Who handles the service issues?

We have U.S. based technical support teams available day and night that can resolve almost all malfunctions over the phone and through remote control. In the event that a major component fails our partners will ship out a replacement component or complete replacement system re-programmed exactly the way it was at the time of failure. Essentially we are providing a lifetime warranty on your equipment as long as you continue processing transactions through World Merchant Services.

Do I have to sign a contract?

There is an agreement for processing credit cards but with most of our programs you may cancel anytime with no penalty. The agreement outlines the terms and conditions of using a merchant account. If you need to cancel the agreement just let us know about it, return the equipment within 30 days and with most of our programs there will be no penalty. Due to the sophistication of Harbortouch Elite POS packages they require a 3 year support agreement to ensure the systems are running at peak performance. The Elite POS support agreement is optional after 3 years but is recommended to maintain the lifetime warranty on the equipment.

Do I need to have good credit? If my credit is bad will I get turned down?

No you don’t. With most of our programs, as long as you are not in open bankruptcy, in a high risk business type and not in the merchant termination file for defaulting on a previous credit card processing account, you will be approved.

Do I have to pay any fees upfront?

There are no upfront fees of any kind with our programs.

When and how do I get my money?

Most of our programs include next day funding and your funds will be deposited directly into your bank account within 24 hours. A few of our programs begin with 24 to 48 hour funding but can be reviewed for next day funding after processing with us for 90 days.

Are there any additional charges involved?

Due to the size and weight of Elite POS systems and cash registers there is a 3rd party shipping charge to ship Elite POS systems and cash registers. This charge is not assessed until the equipment ships. All other programs offer free shipping.
